The hours of an orthodontist vary from practice to practice for instance a new orthodontist trying to build his/her practice may work as much as 40 hours a week typical hours of operation are from 9am to 5pm and doesn't include the additional obligations of orthodontist such as reviewing patient charts, returning phone calls and handling business matters.
