I have no working experience and I am interested in getting a summer job, not sure where to work?

I am searching for a job that requires mostly independent work if possible, because I have social anxiety, and I was hoping something like a store where I can stock shelves and organize things, which I am quite good at. I am also good at cleaning. I am on summer vacation going into junior year of high school. #job-search

Hi Ashley,

You ideas seem like a great start. You can very easily translate tasks from summer jobs into desirable skills on your resume. I would suggest giving one of your ideas a shot because starting your first job with no prior experience can be more difficult than after you have an initial job. I would suggest as you progress in school to attempt to find positions and internships which align with your eventual career aspirations.

Best of luck.

I would look for something that is outdoors which is good for your soul and well being. Lawn care, trail maintenance, working with city parks are also a great option
