ooooh. I did not see this prior to answering the previous question! Tells me you are thinking of moving!
"Salary" in and of itself is not an indicator of financial well-being. You want to spend some time looking at a cost of living calculator as well. For example, if you make $50,000 in El Paso, you would need to make $76,800 in Los Angeles to maintain the same standard of living, and $124,500 in Manhattan, NY!!! Housing is probably the single highest expense you will have. The cost of housing has gotten crazy. Renting is pricey.

You can find Texas nursing salaries on this site: On the four boxes at the top left, select "entry" "submit". In the search box upper right, enter "nurse." It should filter down to about six entries. Let me know if you have trouble with it. El Paso actually pays fairly well!

For national information, spend some time on this site. Use caution - "median" salaries are NOT entry level. There is usually a big difference!

There are cities that are "young" and "growing" with a certain vibe, if that is what you are looking for, I have heard good things about Charleston, SC, and the cost of living there is not high.
Hope this info is helpful!

It depends!! Please focus more on savings, learnings and growth opportunity. I have moved to USA from India , moved back to India and moved back to USA again for better growth perspective . If you really want to save better look for tax free state where wages are high for your industry.
