Hi Arturo,

It really depends on the state! Police officers are often paid well with comprehensive benefits as it is a government job. I would check out the hiring or recruitment page of your local PD. They would have the hourly or yearly salaried pay for an entry police officer. Also, go on a ride with a police officer! When I was first interested in law enforcement and policing, ride alongs showed me so much about the career (including pay, you can tactfully ask an officer once you get to know them!)
