H Joshua. I encouraged my son to get into HVAC, in part, because it is usually in relatively high demand, decent paying and nearly universal in need around the country. (He choose a different career however). It's always too hot or too cold for someone someplace!!! If you are interested in HVAC as a career it could be a good one. Good luck!

I believe you'll find work in HVAC in most of the places in the US. There are a few places that never get too hot or too cold. I think this would be a great career with a good earning potential for you. In Dallas, where I live, there is a serious shortage of skilled trades people and they make a great living. Since it is a very physical job, I'd recommend taking some business courses after you are working in the industry. That way, if you don't or can't keep doing the actual work, you could start your own business and employee others while serving your community in this important way. Best of luck to you!
