There is no telling where I will be in ten years. I would like to think, working for Cisco. I will say this, I know wherever I am, I will be happy and with my family. You really just never know though. All you can do in this life is try your best and work toward something that interests you. I fell into this field and discovered that I like it. You will never know if you will like something until you try it. And KNOW, that you will not be an expert at it on your first try. Just keep at it and you will figure out if it suits you or not.

Interesting question. In 10 years, I hope that I am continuing to achieve the personal goals which I have set for myself. Most importantly I hope that I am healthy and happy and enjoying every moment with my friends and family.

Thank you for the intriguing yet simple question. Such a simple question that turns into a complicated response.
Personally, I will be retired from the Military after 20 years and plan on supporting my wife while her career takes the driver's seat. She is currently in school and uncertain as to whether or not she wants to be a physical trainer or an X-ray Tech. My goal in the military was to become financially independent and prepare aggressively for retirement. My wife and I have lived a frugal and humble life to ensure our ability to live comfortably and without concern until the end of our days.
If I had it my way, my wife would get a job as an X-ray tech at a military installation in either San Diego or Tampa. We are both tropical people and prefer to live in a environment that supports our hobbies and lifestyle.
I see myself looking for a hobby that may also bring in small amounts of income just enough to support itself and to not take the fun out of the hobby.
What about you?
