While choosing a highly ranked law school is important, I also think there are other factors to consider, such as:
(1) Financial aid/scholarship--law school is expensive and you should consider what it would cost to go to each law school in which you are accepted and whether/how much debt you would accrue by the time you graduate. Selecting a school based on the financial package they give you could be a wise decision.
(2) Geographic location--in some cases, it can be advantageous to attend law school in the area in which you want to practice law when you graduate.
(3) Special programs--depending on the type of law you want to practice, you will also want to consider whether a school has programs that focus on your interests.

Hi! There are many great law schools around the country but some of the ones that are most prestigious include Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia and Georgetown. Those are just a few. But, I will let you in on a little secret: any law school that is accredited (recognized) will get you where you want to be. I went to a very little known law school but was able to get my foot in the door for that first job and, after that, it didn't matter where my degree came from. Just remember to study hard and pass the bar examination in the state where you want to practice law and you're off! I hope someday you will be a member of this profession which truly does help people in more ways than you could ever imagine. Good luck!!!
