Rebecca’s Answer

Hi Andrew, I work at AT&T and am not a welder, but I do have a young brother that is a Mig welder. He has traveled all over the United States welding different factory equipment for the company that he works for. He went to a local vocational school right out of High School with no previous experience welding prior, but had an interest in the craft.

Sounds like you have some great strengths that would be a good asset for any welder. My bother shared the following strengths are desired to be a good welder 1. A steady hand -2. Patience - you can't give up. If at first you struggle with your welds you have to practice - practice - practice to get a good feel/rhythm for the craft 3. Strength - some times the materials can be very heavy that you are working with and moving them around can be difficult if you don't have strength.

Good luck with you journey! I wish you the best!
