Tia’s Answer
What type of government contractor? I was a contractor who was a receptionist making $10 an hour. My cousin is a contractor focusing on international relations and makes, well a lot. You should focus on finding the subjects you enjoy learning about and find a job in that field.

Douglas’s Answer
The government is the biggest employer in the USA, and there are opportunities as government contractors through large businesses such as Lockheed, Honeywell, and General Electric, or as an independent contractor within a variety of fields such medical, building maintenance, etc. You need to pursue your career interest and see where the job opportunities lead you. Hope this helps, good luck.

Any advice you have for this?
