What is most Challenging about Mechanical Engineering within the Robics Industry?

I volunteered at FLL (First Lego League) for Robot design. For mechanical design, we value durability, mechanical efficiency, and mechanization. For durability, it asks for robot design to maintain structural integrity. For efficiency, the robot needs to be easy to repair, modify, and be handled technicians. For mechanization, it's designed to move or act with appropriate speed, strength and accuracy for intended tasks. I think these can apply to Robotics industry. Enjoy your class!
