Paul’s Answer

  • College fairs are a great way to learn about different schools because there are 100s of schools all in one place.
  • Websites are excellent sources of information as you'll have the ability to bookmark pages that are of particular interest to you.
  • Every college hosts tours and open houses where you have the opportunity to ask questions from admissions officers, professors and current students.

Yolanda’s Answer

I would recommend you go on college tours! Normally, colleges in your local area give free college workshops and tours. Take advantage of those opportunities and do not forget to build your network! (Networking can help with finding scholarships & opportunities)

Yolanda recommends the following next steps:

Google college tours at local colleges you are interested
Ask your guidance counselor for free college tours near by.
