How hard is it to find a job with a HVAC certification.

#job-search #job #career A concern that I had is that it would be hard to find work once I'm finished with my training.

Hello Micah, I'm a Technical Recruiter and recruit for HVAC Mechanics. What I can tell you is it just depends on your background. I recruit for commercial HVAC mechanics and we do required the EPA/HVAC certification, but also required some experience. Now, sometimes we have entry level positions where you dont have to have much experience, but you do need the EPA/HVAC certification. So, having the EPA/HVAC certification will help you land a better job down the road. If you dont have much hands on experience, try to find an entry level position so that you can get some experience and maybe after 2 years or so, yo can apply for a more advanced position. One more thing, some companies have 3 levels of HVAC techs such as entry level, advanced and senior. You can apply for the entry level and work your way up to Sr Tech.
