Estelle’s Answer

As a dermatologist you can work as much as you want. Dermatologists often four days a week, but it is really just a personal decision.

Rachel’s Answer

The hours that dermatologists work are highly variable. During training, they work as many as 80 hours a week as residents. After graduation, they have the ability to make their own schedule and determine how many hours a week they want to work.

Richard’s Answer

They can set their own hours depending. Of course the dermatologists that work 4 days per week make less money that those that work full time. Many expenses including office staff and rent are fixed whether the doctor is working or not.
