Bioengineers: how long did it take to find work when you graduated?

I am considering a career in bioengineering, and I'm interested in how long it took graduates to find work in the field.

Hey, it really depends on the area you are at. Some locations do have a great requirement of the skills you have but some does not.

I would say prepare yourself for 2 things; one is your best skills and you enjoy doing them.

Secondly, the range of skills you want to excel in and show your passion in them.

Hi Tony,

I hope you're doing well. I think it really depends upon the demand of the role/job and also the geographic factors, However regardless of these factor, it will be crucial to equiped and grab the opportunity.

Meaning that if you could spend the time on Internship, or industrial experience in that field, it will contribute you a lot to write something on your resume but also get to feel and know how would be like to work in that field.

Right now the job market is tight in all fields due to COVID-19. However typically there are plenty of jobs for biomedical engineers. Some of the entry level jobs may not sound exciting but with experience there is plenty of opportunity for advancement.
