There are several ways to get help for increasing your marks in science. Ask the instructor, read additional material from the library or internet if it is credible on the subject you are studying. If you have lab, ask your lab partners for help. Join a study group. Ask for tutoring. Sometimes it might be available for free. There are companies that provide tutors for a fee. You can always get tested if you feel there is an unexplainable reason for your lower scores.

One other piece of advice that really helped my academics which I wish I had done more earlier in life - read, read and read even more. It helps you so much studying subjects that are difficult and increasing your vocabulary and retention rate really makes a difference.
