What are the best colleges to go to if I want to go into a career with animals?
I am interested in going into a career with animals. I still am undecided as to what specific profession I would like to go into but I was wondering what some of the better colleges would be to attend to be able to achieve this. #animals #college #undecided #career

If you'd like to go find a college that focuses on animal studies, I'd suggest searching for something like the "best colleges for animal studies", best veterinary schools, or anything along those lines. From there you can get a long list of potential colleges that may be a good fit for you. You can look at the university websites to determine the admissions requirements and learn more about the school in general. I'd also suggest taking tours of the colleges you're most interested in to help you narrow down which one is the best fit for you.

So very few colleges offer Veterinary training or for that matter vet tech training, some things to consider are where can you afford to live, is your transportation reliable enough to get you there and back for the duration of your classes, and ultimately you’re going to need the recommendations you earn by doing volunteer work either with a local vet, your local animal shelter, the humane society, and animal rescues.
So before worrying about which college to go to, consider if you have done the groundwork to get recommended for a program.

The best schools would be those with veterinary programs such as Purdue, Ohio State and others. Training will include biology classwork
Keep in mind that competition for recommendations to programs is very stiff!
