We have many things in common, Deaunte' B. I am a nice person. I like sports and music. Plus youtube, I'm not sure what's twitch is, but I will look it up. I want to help people. My Zodiac is a Capricorn. However, you have a lot of great qualities, and to be either one of those things, it takes a love of patience, discipline, and hard work. If you have those contribute to who you are, I think you'll go far in life no matter what it is you decided to do. I would reach to those people you admire on Youtube and Twitch to get feedback on how they started and to do a lot of research what it takes to be either a Youtube er or Twitcher. I believe in you. So continue to find your passion in life.

Great question! Being a YouTube/Twitch content creator does not require you to have any certifications and or educational requirements, but the quality of your work will suffer if you don't invest in teaching yourself certain skills like graphic design, video editing and recording, audio recording, marketing, and facilitation/public speaking.

Here are a few tips to consider prior to starting a YouTube channel or a Twitch Stream.

1. Ask yourself, the following questions: What are you passionate about? How does it add value to others? What differentiates you from everyone else? Are you willing to stay up all night and lose sleep in order to share ideas/information/opinions about the said topic?
2. Decide on the audience you are appealing to on your channel or stream? Do some research to understand what topics/trends these viewers are interested in searching and watching.
3. Conduct some focus groups/surveys and share some content. Take the feedback given to enhance your channel/stream and continuously add to it.
4. Set a frequency. Create a plan. Develop a schedule for recording, editing and releasing videos. Do you want to launch a video every day, twice a week or once a week? Be consistent.
5. Set expectations for your viewers. Quickly explain how to subscribe and why it is important for them to do so. Show your audience how they can keep up with you. Never let go of an opportunity to remind people to like, share your videos with others, and subscribe to your channel.
6. Take an inventory of what tools you will need, do you need a camera, phone, lighting, microphones, locations, props, software, hardware etc.?
7. Market your channel. tell your friends, family, networks. Take advantage of products that can help promote your channels as well as monetize it. Do not just think of money, think about what you want your channel to accomplish other than just making money from advertisements, sponsorships, etc.

I wish you the best in your endeavors and I encourage you to keep up with it no matter what. Never lose sight of your dreams.
