You can get as many certifications you want! But its not about how many certifications you get. Its about if the certifications help you in your career or not. It you are a finance major and you get a certification in some other field say Arts, it wont be of much help. Also, certifications are no substitute to a college degree

Welders are in high demand and there are many jobs to be had. The more certifications you have, the further and more varied the jobs because you're building your skills. Check out the website below to get lots of information about the field, different certifications and how to choose where you want to get training. Consider all that you can, Community College, which will offer you additional courses, and trade schools that offer more of what you want. They are NOT all the same. See below:

Also, visit your local trade school. Just call, ask to speak to the admissions rep, and arrange a time for a tour. You'll get the feel and lots of info. Ask about price, financial aid, & their placement rate.
