I would like to take up the Commerce stream in Class 11 but my seniors have told me that it is not a very scoring subject.

Your belief that you can perform well in the subject which you are interested in is true .Your performance in a particular subject directly depends on how interested you are to learn that particular subject.
My recommendation is that you follow your interest. Commerce stream is a very good stream to choose do not base your choice only about the marks you would be scoring .You need to take the decision based on the career you would eventually be choosing you need to choose the subject which interests you since that would be an important part in choosing your career and the field you want to work in.
By opting for Commerce you can later on ,do your MBA as well or you can even take up finance or any other streams related to commerce . There are various job opportunities with good salary packages for people with a commerce background and you can even find job opportunities abroad as well.
My recommendation is since you’re interested in Commerce it’s better you take up Commerce .

If you are confident that you can score and you like the subject then you must go ahead without a second thought. Commerce stream gives you a lot of option to choose from. Do not worry about scores much if you like it you would eventually move to the top.
