I suppose tig welding steel. It’s quiet, not as messy, and produces a pretty weld... but it’s slow as hell lol.
MiG (solid wire) is fun if you want to build something relatively quickly, nice appearance, not much effort that’s the ticket.
Stick is great if you’re outside of a shop, have some debris on material. You can produce a nice weld, in rough conditions, you have to chip “slag” and clean the weld after each pass.
Each machine has its own quirks, advantages, things to love and hate. You may love one process and other people hate it... your experience is your experience
