Donna’s Answer

I think this depends on what you are coaching. For me, I volunteered my time. But if you want to coach HS - then you would probably make a little more then a teacher - 35-50,000. College goes up higher depending on school and sport coaching. And we won't even go to the over priced pro teams. lol Its all a matter of your desire and age you coaching. Good luck!

Shuhaib’s Answer

I am a football/Soccer lover, I watch all the Club football matches which is happening around the world. Not only football I watch all the games, Badminton, Tennies, Cricket, Volleyball, etc. Every game format had been controlled by a coach, they are the ones who build the team. When I see them, from their acts, the responses, I see are a bunch of people who love that sport is motivating the new generation to play even better than they played or they have seen playing others. A real coach will never run behind money. He believes in the results he can bring with his team or the individual he is training.

What I say here is we should not be only focused on the Money, if you do what you are good at the money will come your way.

Gregory’s Answer

I would agree with Steven's answer; coaching is not about the money you make, but the impact you have on those you are coaching. As a coach, you have the opportunity to change perspectives, provide motivation and act as a mentor. If you are able to change even one player's mentality about the sport or even life, you have succeeded as a coach.

Steven’s Answer

Thought, being a coach or a teacher is not about the money, it the love of helping people get better. There's not much money in either but they get a lot of satisfaction in doing it right and watching their efforts make people better.
