Sean’s Answer

As a project manager you are responsible for managing the scope, budget, timeline and resources. General courses in business will be a good starting point along with communication and finance. I would encourage you to find a job now in a sales role that builds skill in communicating with people and dealing with difficult situations. With almost any role, especially project management follow up is key. There are various types of project management areas and it would help to know what area you want to focus. For example, I am a Project Manager for a large IT manufacture and I have a strong background in IT. THat has helped me manage those types of projects. Best wishes in your goals.

Philip’s Answer

Hi Nagina,

I would say any business, management and communication related subjects. Best is to get a business related degree and then practitioner level certification in something like Prince2.

Hope this helps.
