YI’s Answer
The first thing that I do everyday before I start working is to list all the things or tasks that I have to complete today. Once you have the list, you could prioritize them. By doing this, you will be clear on your responsibility and never miss a deadline.

My tip is to use a calendar app. Anything you want to do, put it on your calendar. That way you have allocated time and a priority to it. Of course, if things change, you can move it to a later date. The key thing is to remember that everything needs time. If it is not on your calendar, it wont get done.

I keep a note book for a running to-do list. This is where I keep track of things and can assign priority to keep me focused. It also feels great to tick items off! I try to find time in my day to file emails away to help keep my inbox clutter free.

My tip is to use a To Do List to keep track of things you need to complete each day. The night before or first thing in the morning, make a list of what you need to accomplish, what phone calls you need to make, what administrative task you need to complete, and what you need to investigate. Try to complete some of your list before looking through email and adding more tasks.
I'm also completely dependent on my calendar. I use my calendar to schedule time to do specific tasks in addition to appointments, this ensures that I have allotted time. This includes allotting time to organize your work.
Even if you don't finish your list each day, you have a starting point for the next day.

Seconded! Google Cal is a great way to block off time for priorities as Events, Tasks, or Reminders - which can be easily pushed up/down as priorities shift.
Project management tools such as Asana are also a terrific way to not only plan out, but to keep track of, a set of tasks that are part of a bigger project or initiative. There are many great options available, ranging in their level of functionality.

The main things I do to stay organized is write things down, make schedules, don't procrastinate, and de-clutter regularly.

Making a list and prioritizing regularly helps. Figure out the best way you can track your to-do items and schedule. The key is having all that in a place where you can easily access. I find it helpful to block time in my calendar to actually work on various tasks and try to hold myself accountable to completing what I’ve set aside time to work on.

Write down a list of things you need to do.
Put it daily, weekly, monthly, and one for future goals.
Take time to do list properly, and look at it daily.

I see a lot of answers here about keeping a list. This is an integral part of understanding and coordinating your work. Use the important/urgent/not important/ not urgent square method and label abcd for each item on your list. Then write down no more than 5 things from your original list on a separate sheet or area. Don’t add anything to either list until those five things are complete. Once they are, do one thing from your not important and not urgent list (read for 15 min, newspaper catchup, walk) then write down the next 5 things.
This helps me avoid adding things to my list in order to procrastinate what I really don’t want to do but need to.

I recommend using an agenda and a to-do list so as to also have some satisfaction of completing tasks when you check them off.
