Being an administrative assistant is a very rewarding career. Because assistant's are asked to do a multitude of tasks at varying levels, some suggested courses that will serve you well in this career field would be Business Administration related courses such as Finance, Economics, Accounting; software related such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Internet/Intranet as well as courses in professional development to help with the interfacing assistants due with various stakeholders.

When it comes to jobs in this field, experience is usually preferred/required more so than your level of education. To be frank with you, you probably won't find an administrative job that pays enough to justify the expense of obtaining a degree just for that. I would suggest applying to big and small companies alike for the types of roles you are interested in to build your resume. Networking is your biggest asset! If you wanted to buff up your resume to show that you are continuing your education, you could find a few online courses and certifications at a much lower cost to you such as a completing a Microsoft Office Certification or Coursera.org.

Company Secretary is a great choice as a career. But you need to be patient and committed and focussed throughout the course. There are multiple exams at different levels which one need to pass in order to qualify for next level. After 10th one must choose Commerce related subjects if they want to be Company Secretary.
