Music and early childhood education are a powerful combination! What I can suggest to you is to think about what do you want most. If you want to be a musician, you can start with a bachelor's in music and then get the units on early education that you need in order to get an early childhood teaching credential. But if you want to be an early educator, start taking child development classes to get your teaching credential, and the music classes could be something that you can get without being a part of a specific degree.

Let us try to have a conversation here. I checked PVAMU website researching their programs. The closest programs to your interest are a bachelor in music and a master in community development. Could you tell me more about your interests?

First of all, having both these goals are awesome! For me, it's to take your time to know both first and then build a way to schedule your time and identify your goals. Probably give yourself a year and identify your wants and priorities. This would help you in managing your time and identifying your goals. Don't rush as well. It will come to you. :)
