Hey A B ,
There are lot of things that you have to keep in mind , beginning with 'Passion' - Do you have the zeal to break through the chaos and break the monotony through your sheer passion , then yes Cooking / Culinary can be chosen as your career . Having said this you may end up working for 14 hours straight and yet feel like work is incomplete.
Many a times there will be a self reality check of what is being done in your profession - if the career is in right direction given stress level .
If you can still break this through the interest in cooking then please embrace Culinary / Food Production as a profession.
