Several courses would be beneficial to create a foundation such as math, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, biology, and ethics. There are more courses, depending on what direction in medical care you are interested in. Research different fields to see what the educational requirements are, what is the growth potential in the next 10-15 years. If you are old enough, reach out to clinics and hospitals for volunteer opportunities. This will give you first-hand experience and an opportunity to meet and speak with others in the medical field. Do you have family members or acquaintances who are in the medical field. Talk to them .
Besides the educational courses, work on expanding your communication skills (listen and talking). Do you possess common sense, ability to deal with people and a positive flexible attitude. Are you focused, engaged, a team player and critical thinker?
Hopefully this helps.

Of course being good with some math and science help, but it is very people oriented and you don't always see them at their best if they're sick, so it takes a lot of heart and soft skills.
