I am currently enrolled in a junior college and want to become a sports physical therapist. I want to know what kind of degree should I pursue in junior college and then again at a University

So I have friends that have taken the following courses:


-Sports medicine
-Sports science


I would look up these types of ideas on the internet, and you will be able to see different colleges and the programs that align with your interests ! Good luck!

I'm not sure what majors are available at your junior college, but any classes in anatomy, physiology, exercise science would be beneficial. At university, I majored in exercise science. You can really major in whatever you want as long as you complete all of the prerequisites to apply to PT school. Required classes can vary depending on what PT school you want to attend. I found it helpful to talk to career counselors and counselors in my college to figure out which classes to take in order to apply to PT school. Sometimes, you can even customize the major to include all of the classes you need.
