What kind of psychology are you hoping to do? Psychology has lots of different subfields, like clinical psychology and developmental psychology. Do you want to pursue a research career, or would you rather work with people?
Psychiatry is related to psychology, but requires a medical school degree because it involves the ability to prescribe medication to patients. Psychologists do not prescribe medicine, but can use a number of other therapeutic techniques to work with patients.
