Hello Harish, what a broad question! I could list a bunch of things that I would consider improving society however, I think a better thing to consider is what your goal is with improving society. Do you want to help the poor? Do you want to spread hope? Do you want to just help people in general? Finding what your goal is will help tremendously and I bet will guide you as the why you do something can be so much more important than just doing something.

Consider as well that what some people consider helping others consider harmful so it's subjective. Some people believe religion to be incredibly harmful while others think it to be the most important thing for society so I challenge you to ask yourself why you want to help society and what problems you see around you and I bet you will be able to determine what is most important to you.

Hope that helps

Brian’s Answer

Good morning Harish:

My suggestion to improve our society would be to volunteer at some type of charity or organization and help someone in need. Anytime you are doing something to help someone in need you are improving our society and world. Also, once you have done this you will have someone or various people that will always be thankful that someone cared enough about them to help. You will be able to educate other people and encourage them to help as well. If you can have positive impact on someone else's life than you are making a difference and improving society. When I have volunteered to help someone in need or less fortunate it is my experience that it impacts that person in positive way. Some people will not be easy to win over as they have had a rough life, but if you can just be their friend and listen to their needs and show you care and try to help them eventually you will break through the hard interior and gain some trust.

Good question and good luck!
