What careers are available for someone with a Bachelor's degree in psychology?

Is it possible to get a direct entry and paid in the field of psychology for someone who has just an undergraduate degree? What would those jobs be? What specific attributes would they look for when selecting someone with an undergraduate degree? #career #psychology #undergraduate #hiring

We live in a world today which is driven by Data. We see this in every industry including the Sciences. I'm sure you have spent many long hours pouring over streams of Data to create hypothesis, predictions and prescriptions. You may have used various methods and/or modelling techniques to achieve your desired results. My role supports Data Scientist positions who create predictive and prescriptive models across many different industries including Life Sciences. Many of the candidates we have hired have undergraduate or graduate degrees in Life Sciences (including psychology), Math, Computer Sciences, Engineering, etc. What they all share in common is a passion for data and how that data can impact the world around them. It may be something for you to also consider as a career path.

Psychology is a great undergrad to have when working as a People Manager or Human Resources as your undergrad allows you to better understand the employee's point of view. There are a lot of Post Graduate diploma programs in Ontario (George Brown in Toronto / Sherdian in Oakville) that offer co-op positions that help you get a foot in the door. Take a look at their post-grad programs - it might give you a better idea of where your undergrad experiences might lead you!
