Hi Brett, first of all congrats to your graduation that is an amazing step!

Finding your first job can be overwhelming especially in the beginning but don't worry we've all been there and you will manage as well :)
I can recmmoned you to leverage networks like LinkedIN, create a profile and update it. Start following companies you're interested in and connect with stakeholders from these companies.

You can attend career fairs to connect and learn about different job areas to find what you are most passionate about. Search different job platforms and read through job postings. And when you find an interesting one, don't hesitate to apply and give it your best! Good luck :)

Hi Brett! The fastest field to get a people job is to get into sales. Go to indeed website and put in sales for position with no location and when looking at jobs that show up that catch your attention explore them to see what background, qualification and experience they are looking for in candidates. Sales as a word scares some people. A psychology degree offers opportunities in human relations, training, coaching, employment agencies and even insurance. My suggestion is that you start anywhere to get money coming in while you explore career fields that interest you. 16 Career Clusters on the web would narrow your interests down. A MAPP would help you zero in even more. Do you have a resume and a cover letter to send companies you may find on line. Check out NASP for possibilities. The best! Paul

The best time to look for a job is while you are in college. I know it's hard to find the time between classes and possibly a job. However, you should take advantage services that your campus offers including the career center and on-sight recruiting. It's in the best interest of the school to make sure you are gainfully employed after graduation so most schools have strong career centers.

I also think internships are not only a great way to gain practical work experience, they also provide the opportunity to expand your professional network. College interns are always the first choice for us for entry level talent as we get to know the recruits during their internships.
