That's great that you are already thinking about the geographic location of your future college and career. The good news is that psychology is a very broad field and you should be able to find meaningful work in many states and cities in the US. I think a few things you can think about are :

1) What colleges have the psychology programs I am interested in?

2) Which of those colleges is in a city/state that I am interested in living in?

3) What is the cost of living in that area?

4) What is the average income in that area?

5) What types of psychologist opportunities are available in that area?

6) How is the weather in that area?

Those are just a few things to think about. And remember, you don't have to continue living in the area in which you go to school. You can always decide to move after college if you decide there is another place you would like to be. Best of wishes!
