Is the orthontist assistant field competitive? Are there any troubles finding jobs in that field?
If I were to pursue the orthodontist assistant field, I would like to know if obtaining a job will be difficult either due to the competiveness or the lack of need for them. #dentist #orthodontist

It really depends on the area in which you'd like to work. Some areas are actually in need of more orthodontic assistants, while other areas may be competitive in that field. My advice to you is to research your area of interest. Go online and look for orthodontic assistant jobs and see if there are lots of postings. Go to local orthodontic offices and shadow them for a day/more, make connections with the staff, and find out what their views are. You can even go on Linked-In or Facebook and find orthodontic assistants. Reach out to as many people as you can, and then you can make a more informed decision.
