The short verison of this answer is just to attend college or university with a focus on education. However, within the education field there are a lot of specialities. You would likely want to narrow that down and determine what sort of educator you would want to be. Do you want to teach K-3, or elementary school, or even high school students. Is there a particular subject you excel in and are passionate about such as math or language or technology? Once you get in high grades the teaches tend to be more subject specific, while in the lower grades there is usually 1 teach who teaches a majority of the classes.
Best of luck on your goal of being a teacher!
Thanks,
Dan

Hi Shaheen,
Thank you for wanting to help others! I applaud you! There are many different types of educators. You can become a coach or mentor to someone you work with or manage in whatever job you decide to pursue. You can become an educator at a company - like me! I train new people that sell my company's products. Or you can become a teacher at a school.
There are no requirements to help someone you work with - just a desire to help others but you can look for business coaching books online for tips with that. To learn about becoming an educator at a company visit www.td.org. ATD is an organization that helps professional educators. If you want to become a teacher, that usually requires a college degree in education and certification requirements. Your career counselor can advise you if you are interested in becoming a teacher at a school.
Whatever option you decide to choose will lead to helping others -- so select the path that feels right for you & thank you for making a difference in the world!

What a noble interest - giving back to those who need it! I appreciate your desire to expand your knowledge and use it to help others. I am not sure which career (industry) you are pursuing, but I would offer general advice. Hopefully, the career you select is one that you're passionate about. As I reflect on past learning experiences, an enthusiastic teacher greatly enhanced the learning outcome. I would also invite you to access the following site to research different career options in academia (https://www.bls.gov/ooh/education-training-and-library/home.htm).
I am sure you will accomplish this goal. Don't Give Up!
