About how long would I need to go to school for my Bachelors in Music-ec if I got my generals at a community College then transferred to a University?

I'm considering getting my gen ed's at a community college and transferring to save money, but I don't want to be in school for 6-7 years. I'm considering Music-ed and Vocal Preformance. #music #vocals #vocal #vocal-music

Hello Erika,

It really depends on what you see yourself doing when you graduate. If you see yourself as a music teacher than do go Music Education and take piano and voice lessons within the program. You will need the piano skills going forward. Also, it is easier to do a Masters in Education of any sort if you have completed your undergrad. As for money, look at Penn and see what kind of scholarships are available. Write back if you need more help.
