Should I apply to a job that I want for some experience before college?

I want to be a vet, so I was debating putting in an application to some of the local shelters. #veterinary #veterinary-technician

That is a great idea! Having a wide variety of experience will give you insight into your chosen field and allow you to make connections that can help with course, college, and vet school decisions.

Nanette’s Answer

Yes!! It is very important that you get as much experience in the field for many reasons. The most important one being so you are sure it is what you want to do. Secondly it is required to get in to any veterinary college. I was 15 yrs old when I started volunteering at the local clinic down the street from where I grew up. It took off from there.
