Hi,
I would say as soon as possible and as long as you can, university studies are great to help you gain knowledge and start to devellop a personality, on the other hand internships they get you out of your comfort zone and put you in a position of confrontation with obstacles that you haven't yet experienced, they help you apply the knowledge you gained and you strat to know yourself in a business context, you can look up programs that some companies offer for interns, these tend to last longer than other and they have a specific framework.

Best of luck on your search.

Theresa’s Answer

The head of the marketing and design dept. at your college would be able to give you very good advice, contacts, and direction in this area. They deal with it every day. My daughter is in her first internship out of state. the counselor in her program guided her through the maze of questions and options.

Seek there. You will still need to participate in your own research but you are not alone. Good luck

Jessica’s Answer

It is never too early to start applying for internships. All companies will have different age groups, some pay, and some don't.

as soon as possible ! as Jessica said, it's never too early to apply. not only you'll get to combine between the theoretical knowledge you get at college and the practical technics of the business world, but you will grow your professional cercle and develop your networking skills, which is very important once you graduate and start looking for a job.

Good luck !
