Hello, I was wondering, is it better to take one on one interviews when applying to colleges?

I was told by a graduate who attended Pepperdine University that he regrets not taking the opportunity to interview with his school. Do interviews make you a better candidate? #college-admissions #students

I am so glad you asked this question. Interviews are a wonderful way to become a known entity to further distinguish yourself in the college application process. I highly recommend that you schedule interviews, if they are an option, at your top colleges. Make sure to follow up after your interview with am email thank the individual(s) for their time and reaffirming your interest in the college. Good luck!

Best,

I would definitely recommend interviewing with colleges if you have the opportunity to!
If the schools you're applying to don't typically do applicant interviews, don't worry. That's common. However, if you do get invited to interview, it will be a great opportunity to further demonstrate your interest in the college. It can also be a great chance to ask the interviewer questions that you have about the school to help make your decision!
