The key to making a lot of money is to first find something you love to do. You have to be passionate about it or you won't be able to put in the time and effort necessary to be successful. You then need to identify gaps to the current way of doing things. Look at what people are currently getting and identify a better way of doing it. You want to be able to bring solutions. This could be better service, a better product, a more simple way of delivering that product. A good way to go about this process is to look at how the most successful businesses in your industry do business and then work to emulate what they do and improve on it.

Plenty of jobs will pay "a lot of money." Two questions you need to ask yourself. First, how hard are you willing to work? Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Mark Zuckerberg all didn't make "a lot of money" by working a traditional 40 hours a week! Are you willing to work the extra long hours as they did to be rich? Or do you value a balance of work and fun in your life? Second, what do you want "a lot of money" for? Sounds silly, however, money does not equal happiness. Plenty of people who don't have money are happy; plenty of people who do have money aren't happy. What do want to do with it, is the real question.

I would think of this in 2 ways, from a passion perspective and a market perspective. However, you will still have to work hard to maintain as where the money is comes higher levels of accountability and effort.
Market
If you are aiming to follow where the money is immediately, I would look into career/trades that are being pushed forward in the market (UI/UX, Doctor, Engineer, Software Technology, etc..). These types of jobs offer large pay initially and at median. You can do quick salary searches through Google to find something of interest and the steps to pursue them.
Passion
Which is my ideal direction, would be to not focus solely on money but what you can do for free because you love it. From here continue to develop this skill until you find your niche/lane where your value becomes immeasurable. Continue to look for ways to share this passion and develop it to where the money comes looking for you. This will almost guarantee your success and garner money and freedom a job can't provide you. The cool think about this is, you can do it in tandem with the market approach—just takes a little more to acquire but it's worth it in the long run.
I hope this helps!

I am trying to clarify the question a bit
how to define "a lot" in your question? is it a relative scale or absolute scale?
what are the sources in hand?
what is the base investment/effort you commit to make?

Hello Jasmine,
There are many ways to make money but there are 3 important factors to take in mind; time, effort, and learning.
Time; you must learn how to be patient. Money doesn't come from night to dawn, it takes time. With time you'll be able to develop yourself with many technical and soft skills. You can learn a profession such as I.T, Cybersecurity, Accounting, and much more to land a good job. If you're ambitious to do more, and more meaning in entrepreneurship you can learn coding, real estate, sales, and or any activity that interests you in building a business for yourself.
Effort; how dedicated are you to reach your goals? Are you laying out your short term goals separated from your long term goals? How much are you willing to work and learn? The best way to make money in the idea of compounding is to start small; work as much as you can and learn as much as you can at work. Example: Real Estate, take a rea estate course and learn how to conduct the business from peers, those above you; offer yourself to assist them so that you can learn the process and many different ways of working. After working with those with skin in game; will you make the effort to set your a goal and work hard yet smart for it?
Learning; how much are you willing to learn? The human brain learns something new every single day. We aren't born with knowledge, we live to constantly learn everyday. You can learn real estate, Amazon affiliating, drop shipping, coding, sales, construction, trading, and much more. In addition to learning a specific skill; there's one thing someone who wishes to become successful in making money and it is learn how to fail and learn from that failure. There is nothing wrong with failure. Failure is seen as something negative that must be avoided at all times but that's not the case. Failure can be the foundation to a new beginning, a new opportunity to start all over without making the same failure.
It's up to you on how much time you want to take in making the money you have in mind, the effort and sacrifices your willing to take in reaching your goal, and what your willing to learn in order to reach the goal. Remember with time comes great results. People and customers will come first and after money will make its way to you.
I hope this helps. Thank you.

Hi Jasmin,
First of all, I want to make it clear that what you want to do "make a lot of money," and what you need to do "learn how to make a lot of money," maybe two different things.
For what you want to do, I would suggest defining what a lot is and make an assessment where you are and what you are doing to get there. Are you searching to find something rare, unique, and valuable, so there is a lot of demand, such as a cure for cancer? Are you getting into marketing where you are bringing the products and services to satisfy the consumer's values? Are you creative and want to create something everyone wants to get from you?
For what you need to do, I think there is a lot for you to learn on the "nitty-gritty" side of earning the rewards if you want to pursue that path. I hope this helps and wishing you the best of luck!

I agree with what a lot of people on this thread have mentioned already... there are two very important components to making a lot of money:
1) Start with what you are passionate about.
2) Find a niche.
Start with something you are passionate about and build off of that. Remember money comes from solutions to problems/needs that nobody has provided yet. Figure out how you can fill that niche. It will most likely take a lot of work and persistence. But that's where the passion element comes into play. Your passion will drive you to keep going. Lastly, to put things into perspective, remember it is one thing to be monetarily rich, but doing what you love every day is even more uncommon and enriching than having a lot of money.

You'll want to handle your resume like an investing portfolio: diversify. Very few people make it as a specialist these days and it's important to teach yourself a variety of skills, depending on the field of work you are into. Grab any certifications you can that are related to your field. Also, you'll make the most money if you network aggressively. The more people you know, the more likely someone is going to point you in the direction of a big opportunity, usually before the job opening has been posted to the general public.

John’s Answer
The best way to learn is to be self taught through the avenues you choose to learn, College is a great foundation but doesnt equate to making money. It helps if you have a strong work ethic, good head for numbers and know how to communicate well. Communication is not just talking back and forth. Communicating your ideas in a way that they can be easily understood is not as easy as it sounds, you have to take complex ideas and be able to deliver that to people in a way that they will understand. One of the most important parts of communication is LISTENING and understanding what you heard. If you are not an accomplished listener it will be very difficult to go far in the business world. It is easiest to accell in something your are very passionate about, that is the key to taking the correct avenue when choosing and idea or a business plan. Plenty of information on line to assist along the way.

The best way to make money is to make yourself indispensable. This can be done in basically two ways: 1. Enter a field that pays well such as becoming a doctor and/or become an expert in your field. If you enter a business arena you will need to spend time and effort gaining knowledge and becoming an expert. This will make your skills more marketable and sought after.

I would echo what other responses have indicated. Find something you are passionate about and figure out how you can fill a niche. Be patient but persistent. It may take years before you reap the rewards of your hard work. You may experience some failures along the way but, it is how those failures are handled that will build you. Finally, never get comfortable. Always be learning and revising how you operate, personally and in business.

The easiest way is to find something you are passionate about. Passion is the key to success. If you find something you love doing, you will look for ways to innovate and improve. In the current business world, innovation will lead to success (money.)

Kristyn’s Answer
Identify what you are passionate about and examine what the industry looks like for that type of work. Also, try to spend time identifying a need (consumer or business) that is not currently met and design a product or service that fills that need.

Hello,
I would first find something that you love to do and would not mind doing that career for a long time. Once you find the thing that you love to do research how to start a business doing the thing that you love to do. Self employment is a good way to start making money for yourself. Good luck!

I would recommend reading these books - Rich Dad Poor Dad and Think and Grow Rich to help answer some of the questions others have posed here, and to get real about the "how" to make money.
I agree with Jay. This is a great book to read if you are interested in making money. I too highly recommend reading it. It's also on Audible if you like to listen as well.

So you want to make a lot of money eh? Who doesn't right? I would suggest getting an early jump on your competition. While others are partying and putting things off, get on it. Get educated. Get trained. Get employed. The younger you are the better your chances for long term success. You have to realize that it may take time and might not happen overnight. If you can look at things long term it will be a great benefit. Its all about how much effort you put out.
