One of the first things I'd do is reach out to any old coaches you may know. Also, look into any connections with some of the volleyball organizations many students use to get into good schools. Thay may be a great networking opportunity.

Hi Nicholas! I played volleyball in high school and wanted to play in college, but my D3 school was too small to have a team. I am also a HUGE volleyball fan and was upset when I couldn't play in college. While I was in college, I got involved in intramural sports which was social and just as much fun. Now that I've graduated college, I play pick up volleyball all around my town in NJ. There are local outdoor courts along with a lot of social sport leagues.
I met a lot of friends through my social sport league and continued playing with them! The more people you meet, the more you expand your volleyball career!
Google Social Sport leagues near your zip code
Check out local parks with volleyball courts
Find Facebook groups with other people who want to play!
