Undergraduate is usually completed within 4 years and Veterinary school is usually completed within 4 years as well. However, you can choose to go into specialization as a veterinarian. For example, if you want to be in Internal Medicine or Cardiology, that usually requires an additional 2-4 years.

Despite the potential difference in Salary, it is the same as becoming a doctor, so around 7-8 years total depending on a bunch of different variables.
