Is being a pediatric Nurse hard? Does it take someone special to take care of sick children?

I love helping people and was wondering if being a pediatric nurse is a hard job. I hear all sorts of stories about the heartache and sometimes the tough times with children. You can hear all the stories but you will never know the truth until it hear it from a nurse who deals with this situation every day. #pediatric-nursing

Being a nurse is hard. I don't feel like taking care of kids is any harder than any other age group. The hard situations are often the most rewarding, you have to be strong enough to put your patients and families first. Give them your all and take care of yourself when your shift is over. Nothing worth doing is easy! I love being a Peds nurse!
