Are there a lot of teaching abroad opportunities available to teachers once they get their degree?
I am interested in going abroad but I am afraid that with being a teacher I will not have all the opportunities that someone from a different career might have. #teaching #teacher #principal

I used my degree in mathematics teaching to travel the world. I taught in Australia for the NSW government, for two years, tax-free in both countries. The best way to find out if there are jobs in the country of your choice is to get in touch with their consulate.

Yes, there a number of opportunities for teaching overseas. You can teach overseas as an English as a Foreign Language Teacher, through one of the Department of Defense K-12 schools or at one of the many American Schools around the world.
I used to live in the Middle East and taught at a University and my children attended one of the many "American Schools" that provide K-12 education for locals and ex-pats. The "American Schools" have a full-curriculum so regardless of area of specialty from Technology, PE, to Social Studies there is a need. However, keep in mind there will probably be more of a demand for teachers in subjects like math and science. They generally require you to be a certified teacher with a few years of experience. Moreover, you will need to do your research on the country as you will really want to know what your getting yourself into as some of these locations might be pretty isolated. Also, there will be some destinations that will be more popular and will be more competitive to get a teaching position in that country.
The Department of State provides some information about teaching overseas (https://www.state.gov/key-topics-office-of-overseas-schools/teaching-in-international-schools-overseas/) and you can also take a look at the Council of International Schools (https://www.cois.org/membership-directory) for more information.

I'd say it depends on what you want to teach since countries accept foreign teachers according to the needs of communities. You should choose the country you want to move to and do some research on the demanding carreers to see if you qualify. You have to make sure you have a good resume, and if you don't, do not waste time and start working on it.
