I was very talented in many fields of education. I was certified to teach Maths, Science, History, and English. I focused on Maths and Science because there are always shortages of teachers in these fields. I was able to teach grades 6th through college. The field of study of maths is a universal language, and I also taught in Australia and Adult Education. If that's not your strength, try English. ESL teachers are in high demand too.

Talk to your counselor about your strengths.
Get into a college program to study your field of interest.
Apply for many scholarships.
After your 4 year program get a teaching certificate.
Choose your place of employment by location not by money promised. You will be happier.
