What is it like to go to a Greek-heavy school and not be a part of Greek life?
The school I'm going to says it's really welcoming even if you're not in Greek life, but a huge majority of the students are in sororities or fraternities. Just wondering if it's super exclusive or not. #greek-life #sororities

Hi Lauren!
You asked a very important question. The important thing to remember - be yourself and remain that way. Here is some helpful information:

I was in a sorority and I have to say it was no exclusive at all! We always partnered with other organizations for events and I had many friends outside of Greek Life as well. I never thought I would be in a sorority either but once I checked it out I loved it. It's a great way to meet new people as a freshman. I would give it a try!

I agree with Rachel- greek life is a lot different than stereotypes make them seem- I think if you should definitely check some orgs out. However, if it is not your thing I would say not to worry; greek orgs are very welcoming to even people who are not in it and most orgs are always setting up events for the whole student body. With that being said, just because you are not in greek life, does not mean that you cannot have friends who are- just enjoy yourself!
Good luck !
