What are some good backup careers in the case that I'm not accepted into medical school after the 1st or 2nd try?

I haven't always been the best student academically and have heard it's a good idea to have a backup for medical school. I am most interested in Neurology/Neuroimaging but any other suggestions are welcomed. #career #medicine #career-paths #medicine-school #careers #neurology #career-change #medicine-imaging

Hi Anders, I hope you get into your medical school of choice... but if you don't get in on the 1st or 2nd try, you may want to consider a career in Nursing or Chemistry. Also, there are promising and in-demand careers in clinical research that you might want to consider.

There is a nice article written about this that you can take a look at:

Good luck

Great question!
You can use your science knowledge in some many ways.
It doesn’t hurt to apply for more than one thing at a time.
I was accepted for both Med School and Chemistry Masters and could have gone either way.
I had also applied for jobs in pharmaceutical factories but did not go through further in my applications because I wanted to focus on getting accepted at my first 2 choices
Best.
