Zee’s Answer

The ACT or SAT are required for many 4 year colleges. Most community colleges have their own entrance exam you take before you register for classes so no need to take the ACT or SAT.

If you attend a community college and complete at lease 30 credits hours many universities don't require you to take the ACT or SAT.

Hi Brandon M. I see that you posted this question a little while ago so I hope my answer to you (or others who may read this response) is still helpful.

As I write this response to you in the year 2021, I share that many reputable schools are reconsidering the inclusion of SAT/ACT scores. Some schools are deciding to exclude these scores from the application process altogether. I encourage you to do some additional research via the internet to see if schools that you are interested in have a specific requirement for SAT/ACT scores.

Best of luck to you!
