Hi William,
I enjoy:
- The people I work with. I am lucky to have had the most patient, helpful, and understanding managers. The people you work with can make or break your job experience
- Work/life balance. My company understands the importance of having a life outside work which is why they offer work from home options and a generous amount of paid time off
- That my company creates products that saves lives. While I work in IT, I work for a healthcare company that creates products used for surgeries, diagnostic tests, and improves nutrition for all ages. I value helping others and that's exactly what my company does
My advice is to find a company that aligns with your core values

Work/Life Balance. Innovative Company. Ability to help customers.
For me work/life balance is very important, working as a remote employee provides this flexibility. My employer has been very understanding and supportive during this very difficult time and has provided many additional benefits to assist employees.
Our company is very innovative and values client input which provides us the ability to be very successful.
I find it rewarding working in an industry that allows me to assist customers to solve their business challenges.

First, I'd like to say that what is important for one person doesn't necessarily is relevant for another. You need to have your goals and priority clear, only this way you'll find out what is going to be more enjoyable and relevant for you.
For me its very important work/life balance, home office flexibility, and the values of the company I work for, however , I also value diversity and the ability to be always learning something new about my job and the business.

Three things that I enjoy most at my company are:
1. We champion diversity. Our company has been leading the charge when it comes to diversity. A lot of organizations have just started to look within themselves and begin to championing diversity.
2. Our company looks to make a tangible difference in the world. In the decisions we make every day, we weigh the impact globally; allowing us to ensure that we leave our environment better than how we got it. We look to be good global citizens. Not every organization thinks like that.
3. The tech industry is constantly evolving, and our company helps move the world forward. It's a lot easier to find a sense of purpose when you see the impact and influence your company has on moving the world forward.

For me, if I HAD to narrow down to my three things that I enjoy most about working at my company, it would be:
1. Work/Life Balance
2. Feeling valued/doing valuable work for the greater good of the business
3. Being invested in and professionally developed (through free educational opportunities/mentor programs)

When choosing the company you want to work for, you should align them to your personal values and expectations.
The company I am working at is phenomenal. I am blessed to have gotten in this role right out of college and have this company culture fit everything I was looking for.
My top 3 expectations/values that my company has:
1) Treat their employees with care. More like people than numbers.
2) The opportunity for growth within any division, based off of hard work rather than hierarchy/power.
3) Company culture being diverse and open-minded towards all.

Hi,
When looking for a job, I took into account what the values were of that employer. For me, this included
-inclusivity
-flexibility
-a firm that promotes wellbeing
-opportunity to make a change
-ability to work from home
It would be a great exercise to ask yourself, "What are my top 5 values, or what are 5 things that are important to me?", and while doing research on your job hunt, take that into consideration. Your values may include things like, unlimited vacation, or the ability to work from home, whereas a friend may wish to work somewhere that strives to lessen their impact on the environment.
Good Luck & remember that you come first!

The ability to innovate and make an impact on the customer / employee experience. Having a culture of innovation that is fostered throughout the company is what I enjoy the most about where I work. I can only hope other organizations dedicate adequate energy to innovation too.
