Yes it is. It is a way to have a career and work at home. It is a way to do lots of education with individuals.

Virginia recommends the following next steps:

Need to go to nursing school.
Also need to get a certain amount of well-rounded medical-surgical experience.
Get varied types of experiences in different settings to be well-rounded.
Continue to pursue advanced degrees.
Get certification as a case manager and helps with career advancement.

If you are referring to a nurse case manager, YES. Especially if you are one who likes working with and educating others. Many nurse case managers make more money than the typical floor nurse that works in the hospital. And usually it is a Monday through Friday job. Off on holidays!!!
